Neighborhood Families

The School at Columbia University is fully committed to making it possible for all families to afford to enroll their children. To apply for aid, families must provide financial information to Clarity, an independent financial aid servicing organization. All families are required to file federal tax forms in order to be eligible for financial aid.

Because financial aid grants are only valid for one year, all families must apply for financial aid each year. Please find important forms and information below.

The School at Columbia Financial Aid program is designed to make a TSC education possible for all families based on demonstrated financial need. TSC is proud to use the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts.

The deadline for completing the 2024-25 financial aid application, including relevant supplemental documents, is Friday, Nov. 17, 2023 for returning TSC families, and Friday, Dec. 15, 2023 for new families.

If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available through the “Help” button in the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at support@claritytuition.com or 206-210-3752, in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish using the drop-down in the lower left corner. If a family is not able to complete the application online, they may come to the school to complete the application online.
