Raphelton was created by the 2nd Grade students as part of their study of Community Structure. After investigating the structure in our community, they worked together to build a community that would meet all of their needs. The planning happened in small committee groups that were each responsible for one aspect of the community: Residential Buildings, Community Services, Public Spaces, Commercial Buildings and Transportation.
In anticipation of many visitors to Raphelton, the students also wrote a Visitors Guide and Published a website for those who prefer to do their research online.
