Policy on Book Donations

 1. In all cases, book donations should be gently used, and should be appropriate for children from birth through 8th grade.

2. Just before each Book Fair, the Library will accept donations of used books to stock our Used Books Table. Notices will be sent home and a donation box placed in a conspicuous location.

3. During Book Fairs, wish lists will be provided for those who wish to purchase new books for the classrooms or the Library.

4. For special occasions, such as birthdays, students are encouraged to provide a new book as a gift to their classroom.

5. For the above gifts to the classroom or the Library, the School will provide book plates that can be inscribed with the child's name, the date, and a brief message.

6. The School's community groups may also request book donations to give to charitable causes. The Library will coordinate with them as needed.
