Her commitment to community service is evidenced by her work as a mathematics instructor with Interfaith Neighbors, Inc., for which she was awarded a Citation from the Office of the President for the Borough of Manhattan. Prior to teaching at The School, Lisbeth spent many years working in finance, including training new employees in the field of interest rate risk management. Lisbeth also worked as a biomedical technician and researcher in the field of molecular genetics for the Southwest Biomedical Research Institute, resulting in her co-authoring two scientific papers.
