An alumnus of the New York City Teaching Fellows Program, Marisa Guastaferro taught most recently at the West Bronx Academy for the Future where in addition to being a member of the school's Planning Committee, she was a 6th grade Language Arts teacher and Literacy Coach. She started her teaching career at P.S./M.S. 306 in The Bronx, where she was a 6th grade classroom teacher. Marisa has also been a freelance writer for the K-12 Assessments Division of The Princeton Review, and a marketing assistant for Putnam Investments. Marisa's love of reading extends outside of the classroom, and she enjoys spending time outdoors and with family and friends.
