Thank you for your interest in The School at Columbia University.
The School at Columbia is a kindergarten through eighth grade independent school created by Columbia University to serve children of neighboring families and those of Columbia University employees. In keeping with The School's mission, our admissions process aims to ensure that The School maintains an enrollment distribution between children of Columbia families and children of neighborhood families who live in Public School Districts 3 and 5, which comprise much of Harlem, Morningside Heights and the Upper West Side. We are grateful for Columbia’s generosity, which provides for our financial aid program and allows us to have a completely need-blind admissions process.
